How to improve the reliability of the engine main bearing?

Many engines have bearings in existence. As long as the bearings have common failures, they will stop running and cannot be carried out during work. If you want to improve the reliability of the engine, you must start with the bearings. Let me talk to everyone. Explain in detail the five countermeasures to improve the reliability of engine bearings.
1. Improve machining accuracy. To improve the machining accuracy of each component of the bearing, it should not be less than level 4 precision, and the effective side clearance and the mutual matching value during installation should be properly adopted. During installation, the bearing shall be inspected according to the contents required by the unique technical standards, such as appearance inspection, inspection of whether there are surface defects and rust exceeding the requirements, and the specifications and initial side clearance of the matching place for follow-up.
2. The inclination between the bearing ring and the center line shall not be large. When high reliability is required for bearings with long service life, the inclination between the bearing ring and the center line under the standard shall not exceed the allowable specification (for bearings with service life exceeding 1000h, the inclination shall not exceed 0.5 ').
3. Ball bearing with 3 point contact. Replacing a 4-point contact ball bearing with a 3-point contact axial thrust ball bearing improves bearing reliability.
4. Steel cage. Replace the brass cage with a steel cage (optional for Russian engines), and the surface of the cage should be gold-plated.
5. The temperature difference between the inner and outer rings is lower than 5 ℃. If the calorific value of the bearing can be reasonably taken away and maintained in the overall width of the bearing and between the outer ring line has a more symmetrical temperature gradient, the temperature difference between the inner and outer rings does not exceed 5 ℃, which can improve the reliability of the bearing.
